CLC calls on parties to commit to favouring planning approval on smaller sites

Body also demands long-term planning and investment in skills

The Construction Leadership Council (CLC) has called for planning presumptions in favour of development on small sites in order to support small housebuilders and improve housing supply.

In a letter to the to the leadership of the Conservative and Labour parties, offered guidance on closing the construction industry’s productivity gap and maximising its contribution to the national economy.
