Race starts for £300m HS2 ground investigations deal

The contract will cover the yet-to-be-confirmed route north of the Midlands

HS2 has started the search for a team of specialist ground investigation contractors to work on the northern section of the route.

The single framework contract – worth around £300m – will include the appointment of a lead ground investigation partner supported by up to ten specialist ground investigation (GI) contractors to deliver the sophisticated programme of work.
